Minerva CARE Team Celebrates Twelve Years of Service!
CARE Team members meet monthly and coordinate weekly services. CARE Team stands for Coordinate & Align Resources to Engage, Empower & Educate our youth. The program offers intervention and support for at-risk youth and their families. With a team of educators, law enforcement officials, mental health experts, and community agencies, they work with students and their parents to address the barriers that influence academic performance.
Family Support Specialists are an integral part of CARE Teams. They provide social-emotional assistance in school by connecting students and families to community resources to address challenges.
The primary goal is to help at-risk children stay in school, build independence, and achieve success in school and life.
CARE Team is a collaboration between United Way of Greater Stark County, Stark County Family Court, Stark County Job & Family Services, Stark Education Partnership, Stark County Family Council, Stark County Educational Service Center, Stark County Mental Health & Addiction Recovery, and the Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

Great night at the MHS Band Concert! 🎶
The 8th grade band kicked things off with four impressive pieces, setting the tone for the evening. The steel drum group followed with two fun and energetic songs, and the percussion ensemble delivered four outstanding performances.
The MHS Concert Band closed out the night with four strong selections, plus a special combined piece with the 8th grade band that really brought everyone together.
A special moment was taking time to recognize all of the seniors for their dedication and contributions to the program.
Proud of all the hard work and talent on display last night!
